Our Story
Holy Nation Bible College (HNBC) is a non-denominational Christian institution committed to equipping pastors, church leaders, and ministry workers through quality theological education and practical ministry training.
Founded by Archbishop Professor Johannes Musawenkosi Ncube in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal, the college was established with a vision to make Biblical education accessible to leaders across different denominations and communities.
Over the years, Holy Nation Bible College has grown into a respected institution of theological learning, empowering leaders with Biblical knowledge, spiritual growth, and practical ministry skills. Today, the college continues to impact lives through multiple learning centres across South Africa, raising Spirit-led leaders dedicated to serving the Kingdom of God with excellence.
Holy Nation Bible College was founded by Archbishop Professor Johannes Musawenkosi Ncube, a visionary leader with a deep passion for theological education and Kingdom advancement. The Team

Founder and Rector
Professor Johannes Musawenkosi Ncube is the Founder and Rector of Holy Nation Bible College and a distinguished servant of God whose ministry spans nearly five decades of preaching, church leadership, and theological education.
Born in Hillcrest, eMbo, KwaZulu-Natal, Professor Ncube gave his life to Christ and was filled with the Holy Spirit in 1976. In the same year, he answered the call to ministry and began preaching the Gospel. His early ministry included evangelising and ministering in local schools through the Student Christian Movement.
Professor Ncube completed his matriculation and enrolled at All Africa Bible College, formerly Hillcrest Mission Bible College, where he obtained a Diploma in Theology in 1985. He later furthered his theological studies at Arlington University, Australia, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Theology in 1997 and a Master's Degree in Theology in 2000.
In recognition of his outstanding contribution to Christian ministry and theological education, Professor Ncube has received several prestigious honours. In 2001, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree by Life Centre Bible College. In 2008, he received a Recommendation as Professor of Theology from the International Theology Centre, Colombia, and in the same year was honoured with the title of Professor of Divinity by the Good Shepherd College of Religion. In 2024, Myles Leadership University conferred upon him an Honorary Doctorate in Leadership, an honour which he humbly declined.
In 1992, Professor Ncube founded Holy Nation Bible College, an institution established to provide accessible in-service theological education for pastors, church leaders, and Christian workers who are unable to pursue full-time theological studies. Since its establishment, the College has expanded to more than twenty branches across South Africa and has equipped thousands of men and women for Christian ministry.
Professor Ncube is also the Founder of Christian Confederation International (CCI), a board of churches comprising more than 300 affiliated churches. Through this global fellowship, he continues to promote unity among churches, provide spiritual oversight, and equip Christian leaders for effective ministry.
Widely respected as an Apostle, Evangelist, Bible Teacher, and theological educator, Professor Ncube has devoted his life to advancing the Kingdom of God through biblical teaching, leadership development, and ministerial training. His vision, humility, and unwavering commitment to the Gospel continue to shape generations of Christian leaders in South Africa and beyond.
Chancellor
Professor Mark Nkosinathi Dube serves as the 4th Chancellor of Holy Nation Bible College and is also a respected guest lecturer specialising in Eschatology and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
He obtained a Diploma in Theology from Holy Nation Bible College in 1996. In recognition of his contribution to ministry and theological education, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Ministry in 1998 and was later honoured with the title of Professor in Ministry by HNBC.
Professor Dube is also a qualified Assessor and Moderator, an ETD Practitioner, and holds qualifications in Coaching and Mentoring, all acquired from PC Training College.
Through his leadership, teaching, and commitment to ministry development, Professor Dube continues to make a meaningful contribution to theological education and Christian leadership.
Vice Chancellor
Dr Hleziphi Christina Chiliza began her ministry in 2008 and currently serves as the Senior Apostle of God's Time Prophecy Ministries.
She obtained a National Diploma in Theology from Holy Nation Bible College in 2011, followed by a Postgraduate Certificate in Ministry and Church Leadership from the same institution in 2012.
In recognition of her outstanding contribution to ministry, leadership, and community development, Holy Nation Bible College conferred upon her an Honorary Doctorate in Ministry and Community Development in 2019.
In 2013, Dr Chiliza was appointed Vice Chancellor of Holy Nation Bible College, becoming the first woman to hold this prestigious position. Since her appointment, she has provided visionary leadership, guiding the institution with exceptional discipline, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to academic and ministerial excellence. Under her stewardship, the college has continued to grow as a respected institution dedicated to equipping men and women for effective Christian ministry.
College Ambassador and Mission Director
Mr Sinethemba Joshua Ncube serves as the College Ambassador and Mission Director for the Pinetown Learning Centre.
He holds a Diploma in Theology from Holy Nation Bible College and a Diploma in Sound Engineering from Boston College. He is also a qualified Marriage Officer.
Mr Ncube is the Founder and CEO of LET THERE BE LIGHT Music Company, where he combines creativity, leadership, and ministry to inspire and uplift others through music and media.
Through his dedication to ministry and mentorship, Mr Ncube continues to play an important role in advancing the vision and mission of the college.
Senior Lecturer and HOD for Marriage Officers Department
Pastor Sboniso T Zuma serves as a Senior Lecturer and the Head of the Marriage Officers Department at Holy Nation Bible College. He is committed to theological education, legal excellence, and mentoring future Christian leaders.
He holds a Diploma in Theology from Holy Nation Bible College and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He is an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa, specialising in Civil Litigation, Family Law, and Labour Law.
Pastor Zuma is also a licensed Marriage Officer and a dedicated youth mentor, passionate about guiding individuals and families through both spiritual and legal counsel.
Through his teaching and leadership, he continues to make a valuable contribution to ministry and community development.
Mission Director and Senior Lecturer
Apostle Dr. Siseko Tyabazeka serves as the Mission Director and Senior Lecturer of Holy Nation Bible College Cape Town Branch, where he is committed to training, equipping, and mentoring future ministers of the Gospel for effective Kingdom service. Through his leadership and teaching ministry, he is passionate about raising biblically grounded leaders who will faithfully advance the Kingdom of God.
He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Ministry by Holy Nation Bible College in 2025.
He is also the Apostle and Founder of Word Restoration Bible Church, a ministry devoted to restoring lives through the uncompromised teaching of the Word of God, fervent prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit. His ministry is marked by a commitment to spiritual transformation, sound biblical doctrine, and the empowerment of believers to fulfill their God-given purpose.

Chief Administration Officer (CAO)
Fondly known to students, staff, and the community as Mom Nxele, Pastor Lindiwe E. Nxele is a foundational pillar and the longest-serving member of Holy Nation Bible College.
Pastor Nxele's journey in ministry and education began at the All Africa Bible College, where she earned her National Diploma in Theology in 1991. Believing deeply in the mission of equipping leaders for the Kingdom, she joined Holy Nation Bible College the very next year, in 1992, stepping into the role of office administrator.
Over more than three decades of dedicated service, Mom Nxele has been instrumental in shaping the administrative excellence and spiritual heart of our institution. Today, as our Chief Administration Officer and Senior Advisor, she combines her extensive theological background with decades of practical operational wisdom. She provides invaluable guidance to our leadership team and serves as a trusted mentor and maternal figure to generations of students passing through our doors.
